Variable-Rate Nitrogen Applicator

DSCN0740.JPG (319451 bytes)

Variable-rate (VR) liquid nitrogen injection applicator. This was built by the Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Department to be used for VR nitrogen studies in cooperation with Agronomy and Agricultural Economics. A John-Blue piston pump, Rawson controller, and laptop computer are used for varying application rates.
