Facilities planning for dairy and beef cattle. Environmental conditions in naturally and mechanically ventilated dairy facilities. Gaseous and odor emissions from livestock operations. Air quality monitoring. Grazing systems. Nutrient management. Environmental impact of livestock waste management systems. Water quality issues related to livestock production.

• Odor control technology evaluation; geotextile fabric cover
• Geotextile and gravel pad optimization for heavy livestock traffic areas
• Reducing ammonia emissions from poultry houses by enhanced manure and diet management
• Cattle production practices in grazed watersheds of the humid region
