This software can be used to extract summary statistics or actual hourly weather data for design extreme sequences for one or more of 381 US or Canadian locations. Four levels of output can be selected for combinations of the five psychrometric parameters with sequence lengths of 24, 72, 120, and 168 hours. Four levels of "extreme" can be selected. The output of the Viewer can be saved or printed but cannot be edited within the Viewer.
A Powerpoint presentation describing the utilization of the Viewer may be found at http://www.bae.uky.edu/~colliver/Programs/sequence_overview/sld001.htm
Further information about the backgound and development of the design sequences may be found in: Colliver, D.G., R.S. Gates, H. Zhang, and K.T. Priddy. 1998. Sequences of Extreme Temperature and Humidity for Design Calculations (Technical Paper 4105, RP828). ASHRAE Transactions Vol 104(1):133-144.
