Livestock Systems
- Sheep - 
Sheep were among the first animals to be domesticated. This began 11,000 - 15,000 years ago in the mountains
of Southeast Europe and Central/Southwest Asia. Sheep were favorable because of their wool and meat which
they are still used and bred for today.
