  • The University of Kentucky Animal Research Center is a state of the art Research Facility designed to facilitate and grow  Swine, Beef Cattle, Sheep, Corn, Wheat, and Soybeans.  The Animal Research Center  is an intense farming operation focusing on research and development in the field of agriculture.  Special methods  for nutrient management and water  quality assurance are currently being employed.

  • The Animal Research Center is located approximately 3 miles outside of Versailles at the intersection of 60 & 62 in Woodford County, Kentucky.  This farm was purchases by the University of Kentucky in late December 1991.  

  • Currently there are state of the art facilities designed to aid in the research of Cattle, Swine, and Sheep.  Additional research facilities are expected in the future.  These facilities will include a dairy cow operation,feed meal, and a  distant learning facility.
