Doug Overhults Receives RERC AwardDoug Overhults, Ph.D., P.E., was honored with the Rural Electricity Resource Council (RERC) Distinguished Service Award during a luncheon at the RERC’s national conference.
“Recognizing allies who help in the energy management and education effort is important to electric power supplier members of our Council,” Richard Hiatt, RERC executive manager, said. “Since the first award was presented in 1977, individuals like Doug Overhults have been honored for their dedicated efforts and accomplishments.”
The RERC cited the “the continuing work of Doug Overhults in fan ventilation efficiency, farm energy audits and cost savings,” and recognized his years of service in educating rural consumers on the efficient and safe use of energy. For more on Dr. Overhults' research, click here.
