The objectives of this project are to develop, transfer, and promote the knowledge that will be essential to realistically controlling ammonia emissions from poultry production.

To accomplish these objectives, the project team will aim to:

• accurately identify baseline emission data for different seasons, regions, housing styles and management approaches;
• develop and test cost-effective strategies for their potential in reducing ammonia emissions;
• facilitate the transfer of this knowledge to the poultry industry.
