Graduate Studies

- Introduction -

The Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Department offers exciting opportunities for graduate study. Modern offices and laboratories provide an enjoyable atmosphere conducive to the development and testing of creative new ideas.

The department faculty rank at or near the top of similar departments in research productivity. Most of the faculty have contacts and cooperative research projects in foreign countries. This international flavor of the department brings breadth of vision to the program.

The graduate educational experience encompasses intellectual, personal and professional growth with the goal of service to humankind. Course work is important, but the exploration of the unknown and the exchange of ideas with other students and faculty are also part of the total educational experience. Biosystems and agricultural engineering students become involved in all departmental functions: teaching, research, and outreach.
